1About Foodologists
Foodologists (Pty) Ltd is a South African company providing online food safety training in accordance with applicable South African food safety legislation and best practice.
2Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in, accessing, or completing the course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3Nature of the Course
The course is delivered online and consists of digital learning content, assessments, and an electronic certificate upon successful completion. The course is educational and does not replace employer responsibilities, regulatory inspections, or site-specific compliance requirements.
4Eligibility
The course is intended for food handlers, food service staff, catering personnel, food manufacturing staff, and employers enrolling staff for compliance purposes.
5Course Access & Use
Access is granted after successful payment. Login details are issued electronically and are non-transferable. Sharing access details or content is prohibited.
6Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). Payment must be made in full before access is granted.
7Refunds & Cooling-Off Rights
Due to the digital nature of the course, no refunds are provided once access has been granted. By purchasing, you consent to immediate access and waive cooling-off rights under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
8Assessments & Certificates
Certificates are issued electronically upon successful completion. Foodologists reserves the right to withhold or revoke certificates in cases of misuse or fraud.
9Regulatory Alignment
The course aligns with South African food safety legislation and best practice but does not guarantee regulatory approval or inspection outcomes.
10Intellectual Property
All course content remains the intellectual property of Foodologists (Pty) Ltd and may not be copied, distributed, or resold.
11Limitation of Liability
Foodologists shall not be liable for losses arising from incorrect application of course content or regulatory penalties imposed by third parties.
12POPIA & Personal Information
Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) for training administration and certification.
13Suspension or Termination
Foodologists may suspend or terminate access without refund if these terms are breached or misuse is detected.
14Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
